-forgot my name at 11:39 PM wow. he's good. -forgot my name at 10:35 AM as i was photoshopping some of the photos taken during the cambodia trip, a lot of memories and thoughts flooded back to me so i guess i'll pen them down over here. amongst all of the things i've seen, heard or tasted back in cambodia, the one thing i love most about the country is still the clear blue sky, the vast green fields. some of you may think that cambodia is a poor country which has nothing much to offer but i'd beg to differ. for a country with such a brutal past, it is so well endowed with all the beauty and splendour of the nature. i remember the day at angkor wat when there were these little girls trying to pester us into buying either water or clothes from them. i vividly remember this little girl telling us that she is very lucky to be in cambodia; they have angkor wat, they have food, they have water and she is happy. it's just crazy when you hear from people who have everything they could ever want complain about their lives, their work, their country, their government and yet for a little girl who has to pester tourists into buying a US$1 mineral water, she is ever so thankful for what she has, what she has been given. sorry kinda emo so this is all just food for thought. -forgot my name at 11:27 PM :) finally back from cambodia backpacking. it's full of lotsa crazy shit but great nonetheless. there were a lot of first for me and the rest. first time i ate dog meat, first time i ate a cricket. am absolutely thrilled that most of my shots turned out so much better than expected. will find time to edit the photos and post them online, after i shake the lethargy off of course :) -forgot my name at 6:06 PM days which seemed like eternity. moments which you wished could last forever. nights which you wished wouldn't end. :) school's starting. cambodia, i'm coming. -forgot my name at 2:07 AM it really is crazy how things in life never turns out like you expect. even for things that were already so dead and done. someone up there must be playing a trick on me. -forgot my name at 3:22 PM yay global recession. -forgot my name at 2:11 AM not sure if it's a good or bad thing that i'm really not getting a hall room this time around. even though i've been saying i'm sick of hall life and all, it's become more of a necessity or convenience for me already. knowing that i could stay out late and have somewhere to stay over in singapore without having to leave early or imposing on others for the night. maybe after all, it's this uncertainty of not knowing what travelling would feel like that's scaring me. nothing much i could do except to just take a step at a time. not even sure if i wanna rent a room outside and incur all those costs. even though i'm at my final year, seems like there's more uncertainty in my life than at any point of time. geez. -forgot my name at 1:30 AM |
